SATELLITES

Many of our volunteers are unable to join us on Tuesdays or Thursdays at the workshop.  Some are employed, others may be homebound and some live too far away from the SARAH workshop. Not a problem! They produce Threads of Love (TOLSA) items from home or apply to become a SARAH Chapter satellite.

A satellite is any group who gathers to make one or more approved Threads of Love and periodically delivers them to a SARAH Chapter representative. Threads of Love can also arrange to pick up completed items, if necessary. There is no quota; satellites are free to make as many, or as few items as they wish. It is important, however, that only pre-approved materials and patterns be used to ensure acceptance of donations by the hospitals. This is for the protection of premature babies, who are extremely fragile and can be injured in the most unexpected ways.  Threads of Love staff will gladly advise you.

WON’T YOU CONSIDER JOINING US?
